Our Summary
This is a childhood nursery rhyme where hands are held. As the words are recited, the children walk in a circle. When they say the words "We all fall down," the children release hands and fall to the ground. Although there are several verses, only the first verse is recited and very few people know about the other verses.

I had absolutely no idea that there were more words to the Ring Around the Rosie nursery rhyme. I can remember singing and skipping in a circle to it as a little girl. I couldn't even begin to guess at the number of times that I have recited these common first lyrics. However, never once have I taken the time to actually consider that there were possibly more words.
